Adding AVON Videos to Moodle

You may easily share videos in Moodle by using a link or an embed code. For detailed instructions on how to add both of these to your course, please go to the Moodle guide.

Before you head over to Moodle, search Academic Video Online and locate the content you would like to share. Once on a video's page, search for the "share" on the top of the viewing screen:

By clicking on "Share," you'll be able to copy the direct link or the embed code. Both can be used in Moodle:

Links can be shared in a number of ways, as can the embed code. One easy way to add the embed code is to go to Moodle, turn on editing, create a new page, and click on the html icon < >. Copy and paste the embed code and then save the page.

A detailed handout is available on the Moodle guide: Adding Videos.
