Research resources for PK-12 education.

Need To Develop Your Topic?

To develop your topic, ask yourself:

  • What do I already know?
  • What do I need to know?

As you consider these questions, read reference sources for general, background information about your topic. The information you find will help you determine what you need to know and what search terms to use.

Find Videos

How To Use This Guide

This guide contains suggested resources and tutorials to guide you through your research. On this main page, you'll find resources we suggest you use for general PK-12 education research. If you're starting your research, read Need to Develop Your Topic on the left. The remaining boxes on this guide will help you continue your research. Select tabs at the top for information on Books, Teaching Resources, Curriculum Collection, and Children's Literature.

Need help formatting your citations and organizing your research? Select the RefWorks tab at the top.

Feeling lost? Select the Research Process tab at the top to access a tutorial on all the steps of the research process. If you have questions, see the How do I...? tab for frequently asked questions, or use the Librarian Contact box on the right.

Library Catalog

The library catalog allows you to search many, but not all, resources at the same time. Use filters on the left to narrow results by format, date, and more.
